NRH Shelter has NO Food!!

------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---

It is a sad story but this is the reality of the hard economic times.I received a call from a meet-up member Christy Hill of Three Dog BakeryShe was a sponsor at the North Richland Hills Dog Walk-A-Thon over the weekend where only 14 people showed up and also only 1/4 of the vendors were there.Well she was notified that the shelter was out of food. Puppy Kibble, Dog Kibble, Cat Kibble & Kitten Kibble. She left whatever food she had available with them and called me.I was on a transport and when I got back into town I went by a local pet store and purchased some food and brought it immediately to the shelter...... ....needless to say I was in the warehouse and it was bare. The North Richland Hill Shelter services Southlake, Keller & Grapevine not just North Richland Hills.PLEASE CONSIDER A BAG OF

FOOD.YOU CAN CALL A DONATION INTO THE SHELTER OR YOU CAN PURCHASE FOOD THROUGH NATURES SELECT AND HAVE THEM DELIVER IT TO THE SHELTER. we purchased 160LBS of food for $100.00, and they will donate more when they deliver it tomorrow.Rachel & PhilNature's Select Pet Food of Ft. Worthphone: 817-491-7224They are fantastic caring people and their food is better than anything you can purchase at wal mart. You can also go to Three Dog Bakery & purchase food there or make a donation and I will deliver the food to the shelter as donations are made.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP GET THE WORD OUT. It takes a village to save dogs & cats in need of possibly their last meal.If you all would like to meet at the NRH dog park one day or night this week where we can collect dog & cat food for the shelter that would be fantastic... ..... please let me know.
