TX: Please call TODAY in support of puppy mill bill; number to TX Senate Committe provided

Please take less than a minute of your time to call the number to the Texas Senate Criminal Justice Committee in SUPPORT of HB 3180 which would put stricter regulations on puppy mills and breeders of large-scale breeding facilities. It has passed the TX House of Representatives!, but there is of course STRONG opposition.

 

If you HB 3180 in the body of the ASPCA's alert, you can read what the new laws will be. PLEASE CALL TODAY! The number to the Committe is (512) 463-0345. Your call can make a huge difference in getting this bill passed. More below:

Because it has no current regulations or licensing protocol in place for large-scale commercial dog breeding facilities, Texas has become a haven for puppy mills—unscrupulous breeders who keep their animals in terrible conditions in the name of higher profits. The opposition is

doing everything they can to kill this important humane bill. We need your help to make sure they don’t succeed.
