Urgent help needed for the lioness Savannah!

 

 

 

 

 

Dear animal lover,

 

 

I am writing to ask you for your urgent assistance for Savannah, a three-year-old South African lioness. Savannah is in desperate need of a new home. Her life to date has been plagued by misfortune. She spent her first months on a “hunting farmâ€, where lions are bred to be sold to wealthy hunters. These hunters then kill the lions while the animals are still in their enclosures.

 

Savannah was in terrible condition when she was freed from the farm. Her carers held out little hope for the survival of the diseased lioness, who was also infected with worms and parasites. However, her will to live was strong and with loving care she was nursed back to health. Today, she is a strong and healthy lioness. Tragically, she is now, again, faced with death.

 

Savannah can no longer remain at the lions shelter. If a new home can't be found, Savannah will be put down in the next few weeks. Because we know our donors can be relied upon to help animals in danger, FOUR PAWS has agreed to provide Savannah with a new home at LIONSROCK. Time is of the essence! Please help us to finance the transport and to adapt a new enclosure for the brave lioness. Savannah deserves a safe and happy life. You can help us to make this possible.

Transport: 1000 Euro

Veterinary care: 200 Euro

Food for a week: 35 Euro
