Guest guest
We are expecting media and will have speakers. Please, come and help us speak for these dogs, and all the other abused animals that will never see justice. Animal Connection of Texas (ACT), The Metroplex Animal Coalition (MAC) and the Texas Animal cruelty Alliance are hosting a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening from 8:00 - 9:00 pm at Dallas City Hall. Candles will be provided. Dogs, children, friends . . . everyone is welcome. We cannot let these crimes slip by unnoticed. These dogs suffered immensely. Help us honor the memory of the dogs who we are calling Hope and Justice and join our plea for the safety of the other seven dogs who were removed from the residence and who may very well be returned to the same owner!Animal Guardians plans to bring pit bulls, available for adoption. Our hope is that this vigil will highlight not only the need for enforcement of the animal cruelty statutes, but the fact that the most abused and maligned of dogs - pit bulls - are not the problem. Ignorance and animal cruelty are the problem.Questions? Contact Susan Oakey (214-577-6727) , Marie Amiel (214-563-3911) or Shannon Morgan (469-438-6099) . PLEASE COME AND BRING FRIENDS! The dogs need us! The video news story is here: http://cbs11tv.com/local/Dallas.animal.cruelty.2.978050.html
Guest guest
Thanks for this Shannon. I hope the event went well. Just about the most distressing animal story I've heard about all year - and I get to hear and see a lot.
