I AM HURTING! My Owner tortured me for almost 4 weeks while I was at the East Valley Animal Shelter, please help me……

 

 

 

As you can see in the sad eyes of this angel who needs help, the story of Rocky is not a pleasant one, he was hit by a car, drug across the rough pavement till his body was raw, and he had deep lacerations on both hind legs, down to the bone, and left for dead. He fortunately landed at the EV shelter and began to get care, but his owner refused to come and get him and refused to relinquish him to the shelter. The owner tortured Rocky by leaving Rocky to suffer, as the shelter could not treat Rocky fully for his injuries because he had an owner. Bottom line, the owner’s selfish antics have cost Rocky almost 4 weeks of unnecessary pain and suffering. He needs immediate surgery for wound closure. He is still raw, bruised, and may require additional

surgeries for ligament damage. He is amazingly stoic and loving to all, despite all that he has endured.

 

The Shelter has given the owner until Monday, 3/16 to claim Rocky, if he does not, Take Me Home Rescue is ready and prepared to help this sweet angel get all the medical care he needs and find him his forever home, but Take Me Home needs donation pledges towards his surgeries, medical bills and continued care.
