Guest guest
****Cross Post Freely**** MARCH MADNESS BEGINS 5 ACTION PACKED WEEKENDS Beginning on the first day of March, Win Animal Rights will embark on the first of five weekends of action covering targets ranging from the posh luxury stores that sell the skins of murdered animals for greed and vanity to the prominent pharmaceutical companies (i.e. drug pushers) that are poisoning the earth and all of its inhabitants. Of course, the notorious animal testing laboratory, Huntingdon Life Sciences will be a primary target with a focus on their customers and investors. March Madness targets selected include the following: Fur Targets include Escada, Max Mara and of course New York City's most despicable fur pimp, Dennis Basso. Vivisection Targets include: Huntingdon Life Sciences, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sanofi-Aventis and Astra Zeneca. Other special targets will include: Gateway to Hell Campaign to Free the Nepal Monkeys, the campaign to stop the Canadian Seal Slaughter and the campaign to stop the abuse of animals in Turkey. Each weekend, activists will visit the companies listed below, along with any business or individual that enables those businesses to continue to profit from the torture and killing of innocent animals. Visit the March Madness Events page to see details about the next March Madness event. http://war-online.org/Alert_MarchMadness3-1-09.htm Street protests and educational outreach will be the most predominant form of action including both office and home demos. Protests will be coordinated with phone-in days, fax days, letter writing and other creative forms of expression. Everyone can find a way to be involved in this. We invite all activists and other groups to join in the fun and to contribute to March Madness. If you or your group undertakes an action, be sure to send WAR a demo report and some photos if possible. If you need any help organizing an action or need resources like banners, posters or flyers, please contact us and we will do everything we can to help you out. WAR is an unfunded grassroots group that believes strongly in DIY. We can give you tips on how to plan and facilitate protests at very little expense. During this month of action, WAR will be remembering those valiant warriors that have been involuntarily taken off of the front lines. Friends and associates, who are doing time as "Prisoners of Conscience", will be honored and remembered at our events.
