My husband, my two grandsons, and I went to see Hotel For Dogs today. My printer on my computer here at home doesn't work, so I drove by the shelter here in Independence mo and got several brochures about adopting dogs from shelters, picking the right dog, etc.

The movie was excellent, funny, but sad too. Right at the end, say the last two minutes, the movie went capoot. When it did, my grandson and I ran out in front of the theature to pass out the brochures, as people exited the theature. I asked people to please consider adopting from a shelter or a rescue. I got several good responses.

What a great idea this was. I wish I would have had the time and a printer to have had more information printed up for this. But, we did get 4 free tickets because the movie messed up at the end. So I can be more prepared next. I'd love to see the movie again anyway.

What a great way to get information out there.

Thanks!!!!

Saving just one animal will not change the world, but it will change theworld for that one animal.

The movie "Hotel For Dogs", now showing, is a great opportunity for us to get information out to the general public about all the animals that need rescuing / adoption!

This movie is rated PG - a family comedy : " .. . . the movie could do something really positive for the cause of homeless pets. If audiences respond the way they should, dog shelters could be emptied in a week."

Ah, don't we all wish that could be true! But, let's see how / what we can do to help!

Get a friend or two, print up a sheet ** with a list of local rescues and shelters, other important information - be there after the movie's showing, as people are leaving, to hand this out to anyone / everyone who seems interested!

Maybe, just maybe, this will save some animals and help them get adopted. Can't hurt to try!

** VA - Pet Lover's Companion, available free, would be perfect !!
