Help us ask Petland to make a humane transformation and stop selling puppies in favor of selling pet supplies only! This is one in many simultaneous NATIONWIDE Petland demonstrations.From Florida to California we'll be out in droves! To gear up for January 10th, Jennifer Fearing has been spearheading demonstrations at the Roseville, CA Petland and even got her mother out on the street wielding posters! (See photo below)We will provide signs and flyers. Please feel free to bring friends, this is a perfect way to start off the New Year - tell Petland to Stop Selling Puppies! Saturday, January 10, 2009 Time: 1pm to 3pm Location: Petland, Inc., 9404-A Main St. Fairfax, VA 22031 (Pickett Shopping Center) Directions: From the Beltway, get off at Exit 52, Route 236 in Annandale, going WEST toward Fairfax. The first mall on the right (near sign for Einstein Bagels) is Pickett Shopping Center. Turn right at the traffic light onto Pickett Road. We'll be on the public sidewalk at the next traffic light, right side of the road, near the wine store. Please pass us and park at the next mall over, on the left side of Pickett Road, near McDonalds. Demonstrators should not park in the parking lot where Petland is located.
