The January/February 2009 issue of AARP The Magazine listed the following event on page 12:

 

FUR AND AWAY

 

Running with the bulls is so Old World -- at Alaska's Anchorage Fur Rendezvous, the locals run with reindeer. The February 27 through March 8 event features dogsled races and ice sculpting. Unfortunately, the contact info to the sponsors of this festival of animal abuse isn't provided, but if you're an AT & T or Wells Fargo customer, call them - there are lots of other companies listed, but those are two companies that love to sponsor animal abuse.
