Full article at... http://blog.cleveland.com/sports/2008/12/hunters_get_a_successful_start.html Hunters get a successful start to deer gun season December 02, 2008 20:14PMThe first two days of Ohio's deer gun season have been the safest on record. Only two firearms incidents have been reported. In a shooting accident in Athens County's Ames Township, Addison Jago, 48, shot Jack Jago, 48, with a .50 caliber black powder rifle while mistaking the hunter for a deer. The wounded hunter, hit in the left shoulder, was treated at a local hospital. No information was available on the second hunting accident. Two sportsmen were reported dead, one falling from a tree stand in Fairfield County that may have been related to a medical problem. Another hunter was found dead in Wyandot County, and wildlife officials don't believe the death was from a shooting incident.
