According to the following TV news report, there were 6 hunting accidents in Missouri over the last two weeks.

In Kansas, there have been 10 hunting accidents so far for the year; three of which have been fatal.

A quail hunter shot his companion in the arm. A duck hunter lost his balance and shot himself. A hunter skipped a bullet on the water of a pond and shot his buddy in the leg. A hunter had a heart attack while hunting. A hunter suffered a broken leg while hunting. A hunter got stuck up to his armpits in the mud while hunting.
