Guest guest
I wish I could say the hogs survived the "accidents" that are also known as hunters. (Huntscum). http://www.gatorsports.com/article/20081111/NEWS/811111008 Woman survives hunting accident By Karen VoylesStaff Writer Published: Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 6:01 a.m. A Dixie County woman survived what appeared to be a shooting accident while she was hog hunting Sunday. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Candace Tryon Bordine, 26, of Old Town , was shot once through the back at about noon. FWC spokeswoman Karen Parker said the incident, being investigated as a freak shooting accident, happened while Bordine was part of a group of people hunting wild hogs with dogs along Horseshoe Beach Road . According to investigators, Bordine was in the driver's seat of her truck when a bullet traveled through the extended cab of the truck, went though the back of her seat, into her back and exited out her stomach before hitting the gear shift and landing on the front seat. "She was taken to Shands (at the University of Florida ) and she is expected to survive," Parker said. "One of our officers recovered the bullet, but we still aren't certain exactly what type it was and we don't know who the shooter was." Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the FWC office at 386-758-0525. The Dixie County shooting happened on the first weekend of the general gun season in North Florida and was the only shooting injury reported to regional FWC officers by Monday afternoon.
