(AP) - A 63-year-old Tennessee man is dead after being accidentally shot while bird hunting in northcentral Kansas. The Rooks County Sheriff's Office said William Dudley Carter of Adams , Tenn. , died Saturday as a result of wounds to his head and upper chest. A sheriff's statement said Carter was accidentally shot when a covey of quail took flight.
