I wonder if the maximum pentalty would be more than $1500 for shooting multiple people like she did, one in the head, if a person were just playing around as opposed to hunting. Timberlane Road, pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor during her arraignment before Delta County District Court Judge Glenn Pearson. Norman said she was riding her four-wheeler and hunting birds when the accident happened on private property in Maple Ridge Township. She shot at a bird and never saw or heard the three people who were picking apples about 45 yards away, she told the judge. Richard Koski, 40, Rockvale, Tenn., was shot in the side of his head and body by No. 6 fine shot, according to State Police from the Gladstone Post. He was transported by ambulance to Marquette General Hospital where he was treated and later released. His father, Ronald Koski Sr., 68, Gladstone, was also picking apples. A pellet went through the back of his jacket and bounced off his belt, according to the police report. Ronald's truck was also shot. Richard's son, Kyle, 10, was also picking apples with

his father and grandfather, troopers said. Pearson accepted Norman's guilty plea and said a pre-sentence report will be compiled.Norman is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 15. The charge carries a maximum punishment of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. She posted a $500 personal recognizance bond. The hunting incident occurred at 4:23 p.m. Oct. 8. A warrant was authorized by the county prosecutor Oct. 22.
