VERY URGENT! Clarification of email re: Obama's quotes

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY!

 

This a.m. I sent out an email regarding some false "quotes" from Obama's books; one in particular that made him sound like part of the Taliban that has been circulating the net for several months. Apparently, I designed it so that it was confusing to some people and they actually thought I was spreading the lies! In it, I included the original email rumour and BELOW it provided links to prove it false.

 

So, to set the record straight - and to make SURE everybody knows that the email is nothing but lies I am resending it with the links proving them to be lies and providing the actual text - the whole text from the books - BELOW THE OFFENDING EMAIL. If you sent it out this a.m. to your friends/lists, you might want to send it again (I am so sorry!) just so people are clear.

From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'

From Dreams of My Father:'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

And FINALLY the Most Damning one of ALL of them!!!

From Audacity of Hope:'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'
