Patrol cars shot at during rodeo Associated Press - October 13, 2008 7:34 AM ET NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are looking for the person who fired shots and hit two Lee County sheriff's cars during a Mexican rodeo in North Fort Myers. A sheriff's spokesman says someone believed to be traveling in a gray Dodge pickup truck hit the two patrol cars, as well as a civilian car, during Sunday's rodeo. Each patrol car had a dog inside, but the dogs were not hit. There were no injuries. Lee County Posse Arena President Scott Spurgeon says over the past 15 years, this is the first time something this serious has happened at 1 of the rodeos.
