Dear UAPM Supporter,

 

Success!!!  Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives voted 181 yeas and 17 nays for HB 2525 (the "Anti-Puppy Mill Bill"), and 198 yeas, 0 nays on HB 2532 (a Bill that will provide additional protection for the dogs in PA) on September 17, 2008!  BUT OUR WORK IS NOT FINISHED!

 

HB2525 (the "Anti-Puppy Mill Bill"), has moved onto the Pennsylvania Senate’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.  

HB 2532 (the Bill that will provide additional protection for the dogs in PA) has moved onto the Pennsylvania Senate’s Judiciary Committee.

We MUST continue working hard to see both Bills through their respective Committees and to the Senate floor for the final vote.  Then to Governor Rendell for signing!  It is imperative we continue to push hard!

 

PLEASE support these Bills by;

·        Contacting your Senator (www.legis.state.pa.us) and state, “I STRONGLY SUPPORT HB 2525 AND HB 2532 AND WOULD LIKE BOTH BILLS PASSED UNAMENDED,”  and

 

·        Contacting EACH MEMBER of the Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee listed below and state “I STRONGLY SUPPORT HB 2525 AND WOULD LIKE IT PASSED UNAMENDED.”

Remember public support and voters do make a difference!
