Andy Bradley said Jory Danielson and several other hunters had placed goose decoys in a field near Nokay Lake Road and were laying in ground blinds when a nearby 15-year-old boy walking the edge of his parents property mistook one of the decoys for a large bird and shot at it, accidentally striking Danielson in the hip. Bradley said the boy was 150-200 yards away from the hunters.Danielson was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby with non life-threatening injuries. A hospital spokeswoman said he was no longer a patient as of Monday night.The name of the boy wasn't released Monday.
