BALABHADRA, a spiritual leader and thinker in the Hare Krsna movement

who is president and founder of the International Society for Cow

Protection (www.iscowp.org). In recent conversations with young Krsna

devotees, BALABHADRA said:

 

" ... the conscious alternative is to be a vegan. If one is buying

dairy from a source where the cows will end up at the slaughterhouse

and their bull calves will end up at the slaughterhouse, then the ones

purchasing those dairy products are supporters of the slaughterhouse

and will reap that collective karma. "
