Guest guest
UK Indymedia Corporate Whore | 26.07.2008 11:37 | Animal Liberation Staples supply to HLS, they have been subject to many demos and some direct action. We have decided to take this economic boycott further and stop our company purchasing from Staples. Last year the company I work for spent just over £31,500 with Staples, this year that budget is expected to increase by around 10%. Staples have shown that they have no ethics in working with the disgusting HLS. I work in accounts and decided to do a little direct action of my own, so I arranged a contract with an alternative supplier. My company no longer uses Staples! This will cost them nearly £35k over the next year and far more in future years! Whilst it may not be as heroic as those who liberate animals if other people get their companies tostop using Staples in similar ways soon Staples will realise they are losing far more money than they are getting from HLS. Next target is to end our dealings with HSBC, who provide insurance for fox hunts. Fed Ex is no longer used by our company.
