Situation

Analysis: Continuous Water Washing Bio-diesel: Separator Design

 

 

 

Water washing bio-diesel in consistence with

the underlying scientific principles as analyzed is efficacious when

the bio-diesel is sparged through the water instead of having the water

sparged through the bio-diesel. A method of implementing this method

for batch washing of bio-diesel has also been developed. However, the

production of bio-diesel ultimately will become continuous at

commercialization and therefore a continuous method of washing

bio-diesel is necessary and developed.
