Like I have said before, I predict another "terrorist attack" so the bush admin can declare martial law and stay in office another 4 years. Here's proof of the plan in action:

McCain’s Top Advisor: Terrorist Attack Would Be “Big Advantage” For Republicans

After reading Jeremy Beckham’s account of being detained and interrogated at the Canadian border about his activism, you might be wondering: What the hell are they thinking? When scarce law enforcement resources are being spent harassing student activists as “eco-terrorists,” doesn’t that detract time and energy from investigating true security threats? Don’t politicians think about the consequences of jeopardizing our safety?

Well, it looks like they do think about the consequences. And, as John McCain’s top advisor told the press a few weeks ago, the consequences of another terrorist attack would be a “big advantage” for McCain in the November presidential election.

Of course the advisor, Charlie Black, had to immediately apologize. But he knew what he was saying: according to the Financial Times, Black “is a veteran of every Republican presidential campaign since the 1980s and served in the Reagan and Bush Senior administrations.”

As the Financial Times reported: he “put into words what many Republicans and Democrats have privately been stating for months.”
