Guest guest
Hi All and thank you for letting me join. I live in the Adirondack Park of NYS. The place I am is very rural. Cell phones dont work here, we dont even have a traffic light. The problem is there is a couple who opened a store a few years back and kept adding on and adding on until the apa (Adirondack Park Agency) said no more buildings. The issue is there are 11 lights on those buildings. They are left on year round even when the owners are not here 6 months of the year. While they are energy efficient bulbs the span of the buildings maybe 250 feet. If you have ever been in a wilderness area you will realize a slight bit of light throws alot of glow. 11 of these creates a mall like effect. They are rude and leave them shining all the time right into our bedroom windows. Any thoughts on where I may file a complaint? The owners have been pretty clear they dont give a darn. I was hopeful this group might know who I could turn to. Thanks Deb
