The AKC was on the news parading around a few breeds that are "hypoallergenic" for him to choose from, and of course they were "show" dogs. Schnauzer, Poodle, Bichon Frise and Chinese Crested all qualify for allergy free dog lovers. BUT: Obama needs to be informed that there are plenty of breed rescues for each of these particular breeds and that he should adopt from these, not shop! All breeders are "responsible" - for the deaths of million of unfortunate animals per year. Tell him to go to petfinders.com.
