Guest guest
Finally a story about a pit in a positive light! But still, they have to focus on the aggression. At least they didn't report any bites. Police: Pit Bull Rescues Spring Valley Woman From Attack Police in Spring Valley said an intruder had punched the woman and tried to rape her, News4's Pei-Sze Cheng reported. At about 4:45 a.m., police said the man climbed through a partially-gated window and attacked a young woman , who is in her early 20s. "She awoke to find him on top of her in her bed, attempting to rape her," said Sgt. Lou Scorziello. Police said the intruder punched the victim several times in the face, but she was still able to fight back, struggling with her attacker in her bedroom. At one point, police said, she was able to open her bedroom door and unleash her pit bull on her attacker. "I would imagine that dog was the equivalent of pointing a gun at him," Scorziello said. "He was scared and ultimately was the reason why he left." The attempted rape, police said, appears to be an isolated incident, but some neighbors said they were concerned that this should happen at a house right on Main Street. "There's a lot of bars here and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night," said Jesse Grisby. "A lot of drunk people out here and there's no telling who (they are) and what they're capable of." --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ ** Commentary is not allowed on AR-News, however, we have a daily AR-NEWS LETTERS email that we send out.
