Guest guest
GB-Analysts Reports: New and Update Articles Situation Analysis: Biofilm Ethanol Batch Reactor: Packed-Bed Analysis The Biofilm bioreactor has found extensive uses both in experiments for evaluating reaction engineering data and in industrial applications. Yet in most of those cases the reactors have been continuous or at least not fully batch: There has been removal and addition of reaction feed during the progress of the reaction, when the primary definition of a Batch reactor is that there should be not addition and or removal fluid during the reaction. There is however, no stipulation that the batch reactor can not be heterogeneous. Hence one heterogeneous batch reactor configuration that can be adopted is the packed bed reactor. Read more...
