This temporary site currently has approx. 100+ flood and pre-flood animals. There is no known date the flooded shelter will reopen. Volunteer staffing is needed to maintain operations and keep animals as comfortable as possible in this setting. Those with animal handling/shelter experience who wish to help flood-displaced animals should volunteer at this site.###############################################-- You are an “independent rescuer.” You are responsible for decisions made about traveling to Iowa.
