Guest guest
GlaxoSmithKlinePlease email GSK today, they have recently made changes to their CorporateExecutive team, and this team need to know exactly what HLS is up to!GlaxoSmithKline are probably Huntingdon Life Sciences's largest singlecustomer. They have poured millions into HLS and are one of the main reasonsthat they are still open. All companies that deal with HLS have blood on theirhands but GSK must surely have the most. ===============================SAMPLE LETTERDear [insert name]I am writing to you about your support for Europe's largest animal testingfacility Huntingdon Life Sciences. As you may be aware HLS are the most exposed laboratory in the world and havehad their licence revoked after they were caught on camera in 1997 committingvarious acts of animal cruelty such as punching beagle puppies in the face, andworkers pretending to have sex with the animals. HLS tried to excuse this behaviour and assured their clients that these actswere just a one off; however within one month of having their licence returnedin 1997 they broke the&nbs p;law again during a primate experiment; and in 2005 theyhave been exposed again for the same criminal acts. Glaxosmithkline have stated that they will continue to support HLS whilst theirstandards of animal welfare remains high. This policy you have is meaninglesswhen you have failed to distance yourself from the cruelty exposed at HLS. In1997 after HLS had their licence returned, they broke the law again within justone month. HLS were exposed for disgusting acts of cruelty during thexenotransplantation experiments from 2001 and you s till supported them. Theyhave been exposed again in 2005 for acts of cruelty and again, you are stillsupporting them. You have made it more than clear that you will turn a blind eye to lawbreakingand animal cruelty. I would like to know how far a HLS worker has to go for youto class it unacceptable levels of cruelty. You can read more about the latestexpose from 2005, and HLS's attempts to cover it up at this website: www.shac.net/MISC/Inside_HLS.html HLS have also been shown on many occassions to falsify and manipulate researchdata, just last year an ex employee has filed a lawsuit against HLS when he wassacked after refusing to falsify data. If you no concerns about animal crueltythen maybe you care about the quality of the research data HLS is obtaining foryou. You have an important decision to make and I urge that you do not side withHuntingdon Life Sciences, please turn your back on the cruelty, law breakingand sho ddy research that has been proven to take place.[your name here]===============================GSK Corporate Executive TeamAndrew.Witty- Andrew Witty - New CEO & on Board of DirectorsJulian.Heslop- Chief Financial Officer & on Board of DirectorsMoncef.Slaoui- Chairman of Research & development & on Board of DirectorsDavid.Pulman- President of Global Manufacturing and SupplyMarc.Dunoyer- President of Asia Pacific/JapanChris.Viehbacher- President of North American Pharmaceuticals & on Board of DirectorsJohn.Clarke- President of Consumer HealthcareSimon.M.Bicknell- SVP, Company Secretary & Compliance OfficerDaniel.Phelan- Cheif of StaffClaire.x.Thomas- SVP, Human Resources=============Global Sites:=============http://www.gsk.com/worldwide.htmMain UK Offices==================GlaxoSmithKline,Glaxo Wellcome UK Ltd.,Stockley Park West,Uxbridge,Middlesex, UB11 1BTGeneral Enquiries:Tel: 020 8990 9000Fax: 020 8990 4321Customer Contact Centre:Tel: FREE PHONE 0800 221441Fax: 020 8990 4328GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare,GlaxoSmithKline UK Limited980 Great West Road,Brentford,Middlesex, TW8 9GSTel: 020 8047 5000=================================DISCLAIMER AND INFORMATIONAll details in this action alert are provided for informational purposes only, and should not be used for any illegal activities as defined by thejurisdiction you live in.
