Let's see now, how can we make hunting even more cruel? OKC Saturday hunting news: Oklahomans who are 60 and older can now hunt with a crossbow even if they don't have a physical disability as earlier this month, Okla.'s Gov. Brad Henry signed into law House Bill 2226. This bill allows all residents who are 60 or older to hunt with a crossbow during the archery seasons. Previously under the old law, only the hunters with handicaps as deemed by a doctor could use a crossbow. Registration is now open for a Women in the Outdoors workshop in Choctaw, Okla. This all-day program offers women expert instruction and an opportunity to try a variety of activities. This program is sponsored by a local gun store, the city of Choctaw, and the local Chamber of Commerce. The sign-up begins on June 2nd for "Bat Watches" in July and August at the Selman Bat Cave near Freedom, Okla. The viewings of Mexican free-tailed bats in Okla. are offered a total of 12 nights in the months of July and August. Each group is limited to 75 people each night. http://pets.Fortheanimals7/join http://www.myspace.com/fortheanimals7

Cross bows are horrendous weapons, I think that they are worse than guns and there is no warning, no noise...and also I would imagine that one has to be pretty strong to pull the thing, or arm it or whatever one does...about a year ago I posted my opinions about them in some newspaper somewhere in the US when they were shooting lots of deer, I think it may have been Maryland? Crikey that bunch were a bloodthirsty lot, they just about lynched me, I could hear them baying for my blood in my sleep and could imagine my little letters got crossbowed good and proper.

I totally agree. I wonder what more cruel way they can think up to kill an innocent next.
