Hello from Ben & Jerry's Ben & Jerry's Portugal had pledged to support the Associaoes de Academica de Lisboa's annual student party with ice cream. The annual party is a regular event celebrating the end of exams in Lisbon attracting some 10,000 students. Ben & Jerry's was aware that the party was due to take place in a restored bull-fighting ring which is frequently used for corporate events. At no point was the company informed that there would be bullfighting at the event. Upon learning of this, the company has withdrawn all of its support for the event.
