Hey I hope he "breaks a leg" in surgery!!!! Now where's that breathing tank.... Rodeo rider suffers collapsed lung April 6, 2008 - 9:20AM A young man trying his luck at bull riding has been thrown and seriously injured at a rodeo in central Queensland. The 21-year-old from Townsville was dumped by a bull called Mean Machine at the Clermont Rodeo yesterday. He was admitted to Clermont Hospital last night with a broken leg and collar bone

before the RACQ-CQ rescue helicopter was called around midnight to transfer him to Mackay Hospital on the coast. But the man began having breathing difficulties during the flight to Mackay and a decision was made to divert the chopper to a nearby hospital at Dysart. X-rays there revealed he had a collapsed right lung. "He was just a young bloke from Townsville who came down and had a bit of a crack," RACQ-CQ crewman Daniel Hoare told AAP today. "I'd say the bull has definitely rolled on him or trampled and stomped him. "Some of those bulls weigh a tonne. "You wouldn't expect you'd break the femur [the strongest bone in the body] falling from a bull but he's a young, fit bloke. He'll be fine." Unable to fly because of his collapsed lung, the man was transferred to Townsville Base Hospital early today in a serious but stable condition. He was due to have an operation on his

damaged leg later today. http://pets.Fortheanimals7/join
