Guest guest Posted March 14, 2008 Report Share Posted March 14, 2008 Chipotle Mexican Grill and the People for the Ethical Treatment ofAnimals ended their standoff over a chicken-slaughtering policy, withthe fast-casual restaurant chain agreeing to give preference tosuppliers that use what the animal rights group calls a less cruelkilling method.PETA today said it withdrew a resolution it placed on Chipotle's proxyin light of the announcement.
