Guest guest Posted February 28, 2008 Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 National Wildlife Action – Summer Internship: Global Warming and the Race for Congress National Wildlife Action, the advocacy and lobbying arm of National Wildlife Federation (the group that brought you Ranger Rick), is working to raise the profile of global warming as campaign issues for some key Congressional races this summer. We are looking for a dedicated intern to help research candidates' positions and create materials about the candidates. The intern will also be responsible for helping organize grassroots support for global warming at candidate appearances. Experience/requirements: At least one year of college; basic understanding of electoral system; strong interest in presidential politics; good concise writer; basic HTML helpful, but not required; sense of humor mandatory. Position: Internship with National Wildlife Action Time Frame: Summer 2008 Hours: 40 hrs/week Salary: Unpaid or for course credit, if applicable.
