Dear Friend,

 

I just took action online to support a bill (H.R. 1726) that was

recently re-introduced in Congress: the Farm Animal Stewardship

Purchasing Act. This Act would require producers of milk, meat,

and eggs to meet basic animal welfare requirements if they want

to sell their products to the federal government.

 

Please join me in asking your U.S. Representative to co-sponsor

this Act, and help get our government to set a good example by

purchasing only animal products produced with some regard for

animal welfare.
