Can They Hear You on Capitol Hill? We can save wolves like this from aerial hunting. Please send a message to urge your Representative to cosponsor the PAW Act. Please forward this message to at least 4 people!Dear Brennan, My name is Robert Dewey, and I'm vice president of government relations for Defenders of Wildlife. I need your help to end the brutal and unnecessary aerial hunting of wolves in Alaska and keep this awful practice from spreading to states like Idaho and Wyoming. So far, 38 Members of Congress have signed on to cosponsor the Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act, federal legislation to end aerial wolf hunting. But we need much more support to ensure that this important bill becomes a law. Urge your Member of Congress to cosponsor legislation to end aerial hunting of wolves in Alaska… and prevent this brutal and unnecessary practice from spreading to other states. Send your message today. In Alaska, another season of aerial wolf hunting has already begun. Easy targets against the white snow, wolves are gunned down by trophy hunters in low-flying aircraft. Sometimes the hunters chase wolves to exhaustion, land, and then shoot tham at point-blank range. There is no reason why this should still be happening. That's why California Congressman George Miller has introduced the PAW Act to end aerial hunting once and for all. Help us convince your Representative to cosponsor the PAW Act. Send your message right now. My team

of policy advocates and I will be meeting with dozens more Congressional offices before the end of the year, urging Representatives to finally put an end to the inhumane, unnecessary and unpopular practice of aerial hunting. Can you help us make these meetings a success? Write your Representative today and help us stop aerial hunting of wolves. With great appreciation, Robert DeweyVice President, Government RelationsDefenders of Wildlife P.S. To stop aerial hunting of wolves, we need to bring as much pressure to bear as possible.
