Guest guest
Ok, so I guess we can just disreguard the other IDA email i sent, they got it all taken care of ;-)... -Aubrey Martinez Beavers Will Be Relocated - Meeting CancelledThank Martinez City Councilmembers for choosing a humane solution Earlier today, IDA sent out an Action Alert to our Bay Area members about the East Bay city of Martinez's plan to "humane depredate" (i.e., kill) the family of beavers living in Alhambra Creek. We are pleased to announce that just after sending that alert, we found out that Martinez officials have decided to relocate the beavers in response to the overwhelming public outcry against their unnecessary deaths. Given this positive outcome, there is no need to attend the City Council meeting on the evening of Wednesday, November 7th. Instead, we encourage you to Take Action to thank Mayor Schroder and the City Councilmembers for choosing a humane, non-lethal solution to the beaver situation. Or you may contact these city officials directly. Visit the web address below to tell your friends about this. Tell-a-friend!
