Tell Iowa Vet Board Doctor Should Lose His License for Testimony Offered in Cruelty-to-Animals Trial

campaign to have Dr. Paul Armbrecht investigated.

 

Dr. Armbrecht testified under oath that killing pigs by

strangulation is humane, despite the fact that the American

Veterinary Medical Association and several other organizations

do not list hanging as a humane method of " euthanasia " in their

guidelines. He also testified to witnessing a pig hanging, which

may have violated state cruelty-to-animals laws, and said that

he did not report the incident to any law enforcement agency.
