I sometimes get cranky seeing well-meaning vegan or vegetarian bloggers/chefs

perpetuate the protein myth. Above are three blogs about the topic. Each is

referenced, the third showing clearly the amount of protein in vegetables,

grains, and legumes, versus so-called " protein " foods like tofu, tempeh, seitan,

etc. It's a real eye-opener (e.g., a cup of rye has more protein than a serving

of tempeh).

Awesome! Thanks. That is always the first question I get "Where do you get your protein from?".Karin Mark Sutton <msutton Sent: Wed, March 31, 2010 9:28:20 AM OT: Blog Posts on the mythological "Protein" Issue
