Guest guest Posted March 30, 2010 Report Share Posted March 30, 2010 We've similar problems with birds for our currant trees, and blackberry/raspberry brambles. It's easy to solve. Get some netting to drape over the tree. As to birds getting trapped in the netting, I've only had one do this in three years.
