I think it helps thin the blood. When I was on coumadin that was the reason they gave me to avoid it. I just ate more (shame on me) got me off the drugs;)Connected by MOTOBLUR™ on T-Mobile

Oh! If you're looking to thin the blood, greens and salads work quite well.

 

Also, I believe Vit E helps with that, too....so look for veggies high in E. I think asparagus is one.

 

But PLEASE.....you should check with your health care practicioner. The balance can be hard to get in check and can give you serious problems. (disclaimer...grin...!)

I don't have to take coumadin daily. I haven't taken any in almost a year. I just want to prevent any recurrance if I can help it. I haven't needed checked for almost a year.Connected by MOTOBLUR™ on T-Mobile
