Guest guest
Since this message is going to groups that are, and are not local to me, I am referring to the south Lake county, Florida area. A few weeks ago, I was looking for families interested in a kids' cooking class based on Sue Gregg's cookbooks. This has gotten pushed further back, due to my husband unexpectedly starting a new job. Until his training period is over, and I know when he will be home or at work, I can't plan anything as definite as weekly classes. I apologize to the families who were interested! I will notify all of you when I can reschedule. In the meantime, due to serious health issues, I am cooking mainly vegetarian/no dairy for my family. I wondered if there were any local vegan/vegetarian support groups that meet in the south Lake area--Clermont, Minneola, Mascotte, Groveland, Oakland, or Montverde. I know of the Hallelujah Acres Christian vegan support group (a lovely group that meets in Clermont the first Monday of every month). Any others that meet, especially any for families with young children at home? I'd love to discuss recipes, raising children meatless in a SAD environment, where to shop, etc. Not really looking to trek into Orlando, but I can do that if there's nothing closer. Thanks! We are in Pinellas County, St. Pete, and would be interested in a cooking class for kids. We might be willing to trek over to your area every other month, or something like that. I teach kid's yoga, so maybe we could join forces at some point ) I hope you find the health that you are looking for with the vegan diet. I can always tell when I'm going the " junk " route, as my body tells me in many ways.
