Guest guest
Help!! I love my silicone 8x8 and cupcake pan, BUT the bottoms of my baked goods keep burning in them. If I take them out sooner they are not cooked in the middle yet. I do place the silicone bakeware on baking cooking sheet, (silver) that is lined with parchment paper, as I heard the silver pan could cause burning? I never wanted to place the silicone directly on the oven rack fearing it over flowing and leaking as the item rises Thoughts? Ideas? Whats worked for you? Is this just me??? THanks ps. recently made susans spicy carrot cake muffins.. Delicious..\
Guest guest
hello, you don't necessarily have to set the silicon pan on the baking tray, if you fear it flowing or bubbling over. Just place the baking sheet on the lowest rack of your oven to catch any spills. hopes this helps. Guest guest
I love my silicone pans too! I don't put them on a cookie sheet; I put them directly on the oven rack and haven't had any problems. Things don't usually take as long to bake in the silicone as the recipes call for, so the only times I've had things "overdone" is when I'm not paying attention to the time. Hope this helps.
