Guest guest
Hi, I've been vegan for about 15 years and never a junk food vegan, but also never really thought much about it either. I would just put things together that were vegan and healthy. I didn't worry if there was added fat like oil and vegan butter. I'm not overweight, but I also seem to just maintain where I am, it's hard to actually lose weight. I'm 5'7 and about 145, but would like to get down below that. Now, I'm really trying to make sure I am a fat-free vegan and learn more about that, I feel like it's the next step up...so, my question is, I noticed that a lot of the fat-free recipes still have fat in them. I thought I saw some that even had a little saturated fat. I was wondering for those of you that follow a strict fat-free vegan lifestyle, what do you do? If I want to lose weight do I need to eat no fat at all? Will I lose weight following the recipes on the fat-free vegan website or will I just maintain? I know I need to add exercise, which is hard for me right now as a single mom of 2 little ones....I always just considered running around after them as exercise! Any advice/recipes would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks so much!! ~Anna
Guest guest
The only why to lose weight is to incorporate exercise into your lifestyle. You can not successfully have a diet that will give you weight loss results, while still maintaining the calories you need, without exercise. Exercise is a vital component of a healthy life. No way around it.
