Check out this website for holiday recipes with little or no fat. Starting January 2010, there will be a new kickstart program beginning for newly converted or returning vegans to join with recipes and encouragement.

Dear PCRM supporter,

We hope the Kickstart program provided you with a jumpstart to eating healthy and feeling great.

As the holiday season nears, consider making some new healthy recipes to share with your friends and family. You can easily turn traditional family favorites into healthier fare by making some simple plant-based substitutions.

Below is a sample vegan Thanksgiving menu to give your holiday its own kickstart:

Zesty Cranberry Sauce

Festive Fruited Yams

No-Meat Loaf

Mushroom Gravy

Pumpkin Custard Pie

Our next Kickstart program will kickoff on Jan. 1, 2010. Will you invite your friends and family to carve out 21 days to start the journey to lifelong health? It’s going to be bigger and better with celebrity leaders, nutrition webcasts, a 21-day menu, and much more!

Your official invitation to join the next Kickstart program will come in early December.

Happy Holidays,Susan Levin, M.S., R.D. Director of Nutrition Education
