Guest guest
I dislike the plastic veg cheeses, but miss a good sharp chedar. This spread was invented last night to counterbalance DH's cheese toast for a soup supper. The lactic acid in the sauerkraut added a nice sharp zing to the spread, as well as lowering overall fat and calorie content. SPACKLE for toast 1 T. cashew butter 1/2 c. Okara~soy grits leftover from soymilk 1 t. Onion powder 1 t. nutritional Yeast 1/2 c fresh sauerktaut pinch dill pinch soy baco bits Mix together with a handblender till fairly thick and smooth. Spread on toast, or use as dip for vegies.
