She wants to experience my usual lunch time meal. I would like help on make it more appetizing for her. I am used to it but it is a very bulky big meal. I am not used to cooking and so on a daily basis make myself the following mid-day meal, put the result into a bowl and scoop it into two pita breads. I would very much appreciate some help. I do not have an evening meal as well: Quinoa and Mushrooms standard lunch Ingredients: 2tbsp quinoa 2tbsp rice 3tbsp chick peas (previously cooked and frozen) 3tsp lentils (previously cooked and frozen) 2 large Shiitake mushrooms 80g greens/ kale or spinach Half cellery stick chopped 50g chopped white mushrooms 50mg Seaweed 1.5tsp Tumeric One cut up slice of Onion 3tbsp chopped tomatoes 1tsp dried parsley Chopped fresh basil Cooking: Quinoa and mushrooms Overnight Soak dried mushrooms, Quinoa and Rice Prior to steaming Food process Stalks from Chard/ Spinach / kale Cellery stick 20 mins steam: 80g Broccoli florets cut in half 40g carrots rings. 40g parsnip rings. 40 g rutabaga diced 2tbsp chickpeas and 2tbsp lentils Diced onion ring 11 min steam 80g frozen pea 5 min steam Steam greens / kale /spinach Saute Add the following to the wok and cook until dryish: All steamed food Water from steamer as needed 3tbsp tomatoes, 1 tsp chopped basil, 1 tsp dried parsley. 1.5tsp Tumeric 1 tsp oregano and 1tsp sage Robin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
