Guest guest
I'm sure most of you have seen me (and others) write about the cookbooks by Isa Chandra Moskowitz before, about how wonderful and flavorful her recipes are and how many can be easily McDougallized. I also wrote how she's now working on a low-fat, whole grain, healthy foods cookbook. A few months ago she called for recipe testers for this book on her message board. I, myself, didn't volunteer because I know a lot of the products she uses I just don't have any access to, even vegan basics such as tempeh, but many others did, and finally she distributed some recipes to those testers. This blog post: http://sistersvegan.blogspot.com/2009/09/weight-lossy-testing-for-isas-new-book.\ html is the first comment I've seen so far about those recipes. Go take a peek and drool over the photos of the food. Some of these I know I would never try in a million years, but others look pretty good. Remember, testers can't share recipes - these are just comments and photos. The rest of us have to wait for the recipes until the book comes out next year. Guest guest
Sue, Oh, man, I would LOVE to be a recipe tester for Isa!!! I have not yet tried a single one of her recipes that was not just incredibly delicious. That's a cookbook I'll be looking forward to. Thanks!
