MD,Once I tried my cuisinart instead of my blender... it worked well enough for the fruit but not so great on the greens. Because they are raw, they seem to be more difficult. In a blender it is possible to cut them so small that you don't have to chew or anything. I have a cheap blender too! Perhaps with some time, I could have worked out a better technique. I would recommend that you add the water after blending though... I didn't and splashed spinach-mango glop everywhere!Good luck!-Erin montaigneblanche <mdncs Sent: Wednesday, September 2, 2009 9:48:06 AM Cuisinart and Smoothies

Hi all,

I have a question that I hope somebody can help me with. I don't know about

smoothies although I really want to start experimenting with them especially the

green one. I can not afford to buy a blender but I have a cuisinart that is

about 25 years old. Can I still make a smoothie with it. I know that I cannot

put that much water in it. Would it be OK if I process all the ingredients

together and add the water later?

Any help would be very appreciated, any link as well. Thanks everybody.

MD
