rice milk recipe?

Does anyone have a tried and true recipe for rice milk? We drink about a gallon

a week and our local store sells 1/2 gallons for 4.00 each. It has to be cheaper

to make it. Does the homemade milk have as much calcium in it or is that added

to the commercial milk?

Thanks in advance,

Yep, couldn't be easier. 1 cup cooked rice (I use brown rice, but I've

used white and it's fine), 2-4 cups water depending on how thick you

like it. Blend and either strain it, or do as I do and just let the

sediment fall to the bottom. Some people add a little salt and/or

sweetener, but I don't bother. Also, whatever's not used up in 3 days

goes into the next pot of soup.
