Guest guest
my husband and I did a lot of research before buying what we did, and we found the following: Blendtec has more power and holds up just as well as vita mix. The only real advantage to vita mix is the BPA-free container. Blendtec plans on coming out with one, but as of yet does not have one. THe BPA thing was very important to us, so we went with the vita mix. If you want to know how well blendtec holds up go to www.willitblend.com. Guest guest
I love my blendtec. The only minus is that it doesn't have a tapper, but it is pretty darn strong that I don't usually need to stop and get things set again. It only happens when I use copious amounts of frozen fruit and apples at the same time really.
Guest guest
I watched a demo of it at Costco and found myself wishing I didn't already have a Vita-Mix. It seems to blend better in that it sucks food down into the blade and you don't need to tamp food down. Plus it has a timer on it, so you can start it and do something else and not worry about it. - DJ-----------------------Always remember: Today's mighty oak is simplyyesterday's nut that held its ground... How does the container hold out on it? Does it need to be replaced frequently? Sheila wife1 (AT) xplornet (DOT) com
